Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Compensation Consulting Team. This is a part-time, onsite position requiring five days a week in our office, with flexible hours to fit your personal schedule. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys administrative work, and is looking for a consistent but flexible schedule. Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Prepare various documents which may include invoices, reports, memos, letters, responses to correspondence, surveys, spreadsheets and presentations
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, mail and reports to determine significance; plan distribution
- Perform project work
- File and retrieve documents, records, and reports
- Greet visitors and assess access to specific individuals
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
- Prepare agendas and make arrangements for business meetings
- Make travel arrangements for executives as requested
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Provide general administrative support to the Compensation Consulting Team
- Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and calendar management
- Prepare, format, and proofread reports, presentations, and other client deliverables
- Handle data entry and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with project tracking, timelines, and follow-up communications
- Support client onboarding processes, including documentation and compliance tracking
- Order office supplies and coordinate office needs as necessary
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative experience; experience in a professional services or consulting environment a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Professional demeanor and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in an office environment, preferably performing as an administrative assistant
- Must have knowledge of administrative procedures
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
