FP&A Specialist Hybrid Plano Office We're looking for a proactive and insightful FP&A Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll quickly gain a deep understanding of the company and industry, enhance our driver-based forecasting models, and leverage both financial and operational metrics to become a trusted business partner for executive leadership. You'll work closely with the Business Unit leader to help drive profitability improvements across the organization. Note: This role requires being in-office initially for training, followed by a flexible hybrid work arrangement. Key Responsibilities: As an FP&A Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Partnering with Sales and Operations teams to drive GM improvements through strong data insights.
  • Analyzing financial data to generate actionable insights for reports, meetings, and management.
  • Providing informed guidance and decision-making support aligned with company initiatives.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts as well as supporting the budgeting cycle.
  • Supporting month-end close activities, working closely with accounting and treasury teams.
  • Conducting custom pricing and profitability analyses.
  • Developing and maintaining sales incentive plans.
  • Streamlining data management and analysis processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Building and refining forecasting models, incorporating key business drivers, trends, and external factors.
  • Reviewing and ensuring the quality and accuracy of financial models and tools created by the team.
  • Taking on ad hoc projects as needed to support the business.
Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior financial analyst experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in financial modeling and practices.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with financial, accounting, and budgeting software.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with good business acumen.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and efficient time management.
  • Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Essbase, HFM, or Planful is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year
