The Impact You Will Have

This position is responsible for developing business design solutions needed in Blue Plan partnership relationships, client and account operations and sales technology to support enterprise needs, commercial product initiatives, and other related business processes/needs and communications. This position will make sure the design meets current and new legislative requirements and business strategies to satisfy our clients, providers, and members. This position will lead the way in solving complex business problems, defining emerging business opportunities and requirements, and helping the business manage change effectively. They will lead cross functional teams and collaborate with leadership across the organization to achieve results that are consistent with enterprise North Star goals within tight deadlines. The role will act as a link between Commercial Markets and the broader enterprise. This position will report to the Director of Blue Partner Strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and consider market regulations, business rules, technology, and data requirements to support new offerings strategies, business regulations rules and data requirements and the business design elements required to support new products and services.
  • Oversee creation of business and application solutions, considering both technological impacts and business effects.
  • Drive business decision making process to ensure capabilities, systems and processes meet market expectations and that alternate approaches are vetted and explored.
  • Drive business process change and readiness.
  • Drive the internal and external communications plan, including key SME (deep knowledge) for training curriculum for agents and clients.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure initiatives and projects are successfully implemented.
  • Coordinate resource needs from commercial markets for key projects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to facilitate the analysis and development of cost benefit quantification.

Required Skills and Experiences

  • 7+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of the health care industry, payer business models, business segments and products
  • 2+ years' experience in product management, client implementation, client management or business enterprise consulting.
  • Proven ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex business and technical solutions into consumable information for individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated organizational relationship management skills.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, facilitation, and negotiation skills, adapting approach as needed.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently, flexible and demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes.
  • Experience in technical design (solution and data).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, functional design documentation, and test scenario/case documentation.
  • Data analytics and integration knowledge/experience Additional experience with reporting and/or workflow development desired.
  • 1+ major project implementation experience a plus User training and support Vendor management experience.
  • Strategic planning and technical roadmap skills and experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
