Our Sales organization is looking for their next great leader, to help us continue to push our fiber expansion goals forward. If this sounds like you, and your interested in joining an established and growing telecommunications company, we'd love to have you apply as our next Regional Manager of Consumer Direct Sales!

Position Overview:

As the Regional Manager-Consumer Direct Sales, you will be an integral part of the consumer sales proposition as TDS strives to diversify its sales from a call center-dominated operation. You will be accountable for achieving revenue targets by acquiring new consumer customers and upselling existing customers in target markets. Most of these activities will occur in current and proposed ILEC, Cable, or Out of Territory (OOT) markets where building a strong base of residential customers is critical in achieving the scale to meet TDS revenue projections and growth.

In this role, you will lead the development and management of the Consumer Direct Sales department (door-to-door direct sales), Partner Programs, and outside contractors to drive market share in TDS Markets. An ability to work with remote teams is critical to the nature of this role. Responsibilities for existing sales channels includes management of the direct sales channel revenue and expense budget, updating initiative business cases, offer development, hiring and coaching of team members. In addition, you will be responsible for meeting with third parties in order to recruit them into our TDS Referral Agent/Partner Program, negotiating and approving contracts, and holding partners accountable for performance.

Location: Preference will be given to candidates who are located in or near the MST/PST time zone, but we are also open to remote candidates who are located in any of the states that TDS operates in.

Compensation:

The salary listed for this position is encompassing of both the base salary, as well as what one might expect to earn when meeting established sales quotas. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role. We offer uncapped commission incentives, leaving earning opportunities limitless!
