Rate of Pay $25

This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.

Essential Job Functions:
* Lead by example as a supervisor, assisting guests with room calls and efficiently troubleshooting any concerns brought to your attention
* Maintain an exceptional Preventative Maintenance program for guest rooms and various operational equipment, including pools, kitchen equipment, and other assigned areas
* Support your department head's needs while providing guidance and mentorship to the engineering team
* Foster a collaborative team environment within your department and across other departments such as Front Office, Security, Sales, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage
* Prioritize safety by utilizing proper PPE and adhering to all safety regulations set by the city, state, and OSHA
* Perform comprehensive general repair and maintenance on all equipment in and around the hotel, ensuring everything is in top working order

Physical Demands:
* Lift, push, pull, rotate 50lbs or more
* Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day

Experience:



  • Mathematical knowledge of building and construction
  • Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Preferred Experience working on HVAC, plumbing, construction and machinery
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Trade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plus
