Responsibilities The role of Multi Imaging Technologist/RSA must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. They must be able to communicate to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety. Must demonstrate an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Demonstrates the ability to supervise students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training. RSA responsibilities include coordinating the development, review and/or approval of policy and procedures, emergency preparedness, film badge reports, staff training, radiation exposure issues, radiation safety committee and regulatory requirements. Serves as the facility liaison between the department and the contracted system Radiation Safety Officer. Assists the imaging services leaders in meeting department satisfaction, regulatory, and budgetary goals as appropriate. You may be eligible for some of our programs:
