The Battery Engineeringteam is comprised of various teams, including Structures, Pack, Module, Devices, and Electronics engineering. The unique expertise of our team focuses on the structural design of all vehicles Tesla puts on the road. We design the components that make up the foundation of the battery, enabling the most efficient and safe EVs on the road. While our team focuses heavily on ensuring occupant safety and controlled environments for the battery cells, our responsibility goes far beyond. Mechanical Design Engineers working out ofPalo Alto, CA will be focused onimproving designs for the cars of today and defining the designs for the vehicles of tomorrow.The role requires strong engineering/physics fundamentals and the tenacity to apply that to hands-on problem solving. A team player mentality ishighly valued, as you are the design representative on the ground collaborating with our factory-based colleagues. Expected Compensation
$92,720 - $206,520/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
