Job Summary

Coordinates ART patient cycles including data submission to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART); Manages the Cryopreservation Database and MyEggBank Database; Manages Social Media activities for the practice.

Essential Functions

  • Manages ART patients and all cycle data, to include pregnancy outcomes into SART program. Responsible for the verification of data entry and submission of Annual SART Data to the CDC. Provide SART reports of department IVF statistics to managers as requested.

  • Manages Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-dayactivitiesincluding create, curate, and manage all publishedcontent (images, video, and written); compile social media report showing results; oversee design (i.e.: Facebook Timeline cover, profile picture, thumbnails, Twitter profile, and blogs)

  • Coordinates the REI Cryopreservation Database and MyEggBank Database, to including daily data entry, filing, billing, patient telephone and in person contact regarding cryopreservation storage accounts. Responsible for monthly review of the billing status for patients whose embryos/sperm have been frozen and initiate billing when appropriate. Annual inventory of REI storage tanks, TDI Manuals and Cryopreservation Database. Review of accounts with hospital attorney when necessary.

  • Responsible for sorting (filing), faxing, mailing final Semen Analysis Reports on all outside referring Semen Analysis patients to include letters to new referring physicians. Deliver Semen Analysis Kits to referring physician offices when necessary. Responsible for obtaining all Andrology Lab orders to include inside and outside Andrology patients on a daily basis.

  • Responsible for ordering and restocking supplies for the ART and Andrology lab and to include overseeing the updating of the Chemical and Plasticware InventoRespry Log, Cage and SDC Inventory Log.

  • Responsible for renewing and maintaining ART Laboratory standing orders and maintenance contracts to include correspondence with venders and purchasing.

  • Directs patient contact with male patients undergoing cancer treatment or other therapies that may result in sterility. Assisting in making the process as smooth as possible for the lab, physician, nurse, patient and patient's family.

  • Provides administrative support for the Director of ART Laboratories and the ART Team including travel arrangements, meetings, office supply ordering, invoices and other administrative duties as assigned, routinely handling confidential or sensitive information, analyzing issues, researching solutions, and providing options to supervisor.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience - One (1) year related work experience
