*** Performing quality control by reviewing the SARs work*** ** Recent Verafin/BSA/AML systems ** *From The Hiring Team*: We want these team members specifically to QC Alerts on AML Transaction Monitoring. A *more balanced skillset with SAR or CTR experience is ideal*, as is *Verafin experience*. *BG Requirements*: * Financial Institution BG rather than compliance (they need processing work) * *REQUIRED*: *BSA/AML/Verafin* * *Min Years of Experience*: 2 years * *Having specific Quality control exp is NOT required however it is preferable * * *They can be trained on the less complex roles like CTR/Alerts if they aren't as familiar with SAR* *Job* *Description: BSA/AML Quality Control Financial* *Intel Analyst * -To perform quality review and provide corrective guidance where appropriate to research and analysis of Navy Federal Account activity related to suspicious transactions and identify red flags. Review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), related Alerts, and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs). -Ensure adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations, Navy Federal policy and procedures. *Work is performed under significant supervision. * * * *Responsibilities*: *Review various types of transactions/activities/cases including alerts, currency structuring, fraud, and reported or alleged loss of assets from various business channels. Confirm decision points and adherence to procedure and other requirements. Provide feedback to help original analyst improve quality of review and submissions to FinCEN. *Compile, prepare and maintain data for analysis and reference *Monitor timeline from identification/notification of BSA/AML activity to closure, ensuring service level agreements and regulatory requirements are met *Required Skills* - Advanced knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and FI obligations to file SARs and CTRs -Understanding of banking transactions -Strong communication skills, verbal and written *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
