2nd Shift Distribution Center Supervisor

As the 2nd shift Distribution Center Supervisor, you will train and direct a group of hourly associates in the movement of merchandise through the department within specified productivity, cost, and quality standards.

• Assigns, directs, and monitors the work of hourly associates.
• Designs and implements work methods and procedures to increase productivity and improve service within an assigned department.
• Motivates associates to ensure that predetermined productivity, cost, and quality standards are achieved or exceeded.
• Ensures safety and housekeeping.
• Trains new associates in the use of equipment, processes and procedures.
• Prepares and submits daily and weekly paperwork.
• Recommends daily manpower requirements based on volume.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate's degree in business or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in distribution or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory experience
• Must be bi-lingual in Spanish/English
• Experience in SAP and proficient with computers and programs, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Minimum job content knowledge: Basic knowledge of economy of motion techniques.
• Ability to handle people under high-stress situations.
• Specific jobs that could prepare an individual for this job: Work managing or supervising in a production environment; Operations Scheduler; Merchandise Coordinator, Loss Prevention Supervisor.
