Your Role With Us:IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) is a proud recipient of the Gold Beacon Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). The unit specializes in sepsis, heart failure, myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndromes, acute or chronic respiratory failure, acute or chronic renal failure, pneumonia, cardiac dysrhythmias, gastrointestinal bleeds, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and drug overdoses. The scope of service is broad, including home ventilators for tracheostomy patients, bi-pap/c-pap initiation, cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, post angiograms/ablation, permanent pacemakers and internal defibrillators, cardiac intravenous medications including vasoactive medications, frequent vital signs checks, and conscious sedation. We collaborate with a wide variety of physicians and specialties to help promote outcomes. Bachelor of Arts in nursing also accepted. Candidates with an Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) also encouraged to apply. *ADN graduates with less than 5 years of acute care experience required to sign agreement to complete BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire.One (1) year of nursing experience required.Unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon required one week prior to hire date.BLS required.Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
