The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing the highest level of quality service to visitors and ensure they receive courteous and prompt service both in person and over the phone. Will perform a full range of administrative duties including booking travel, record keeping and clerical work.

  • This position is set for part-time with opportunity for extra hours in position or other areas of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of documents processed and controls to assure completion/compliance.
  • Participate and assist with office projects.
  • Fill in during vacations and absences of other admin staff.
  • Use a variety of word processing software to type letters, reports and presentation materials.
  • Maintain established databases and generates reports from such data.
  • Maintain accounting filing.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two years related experience.

Preferred:

  • Associates degree from an accredited college or university in related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong Computer skills in MS Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel.
  • Strong data entry skills.

Working Conditions:

The working environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to:
  • Office, as well as warehouse environment.
  • Standard office equipment (computers, printers, phones, etc.)
  • Well-illuminated environment
  • Quiet to moderate noise level
  • Occasional travel via car or plane to regional facilities, events, etc.
  • Occasional subtle and mild scents related to the production facility
  • Occasional access to warehouse facility

Pay Range: $19.34 to $23.78 per hour
