Overview
The Agency of Transportation (AOT) is seeking an Administrative Services Manager III to lead our Services Unit within the Contract Administration Bureau. In this critical role, you'll oversee procurement and contracting processes for a wide range of services, from janitorial to engineering and design, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. This position plays a key role in supporting AOT's mission by managing complex contracts, developing standard operating procedures (SWDs/SOPs), and preparing reports for internal stakeholders and the Legislature. The Manager will collaborate closely with the Work Authorization Unit to coordinate post-execution activities for all Primary Contracts and will work cross-functionally with other AOT divisions, state agencies, federal partners, consultants, contractors, and the general public. Work is performed in a standard office setting. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND three (3) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR Bachelor's degree in any discipline AND five (5) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR Associate's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND five (5) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR High School diploma AND seven (7) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Manager II with the State of Vermont. Special Requirements
