Job Summary The Surety Senior Account Underwriter is responsible for marketing, underwriting, processing and servicing surety business as assigned or within a defined territory. They develop and underwrite profitable surety business by visiting assigned agencies or services offices and serve as subject matter expert, working with other bond personnel on selected contract accounts, including various financial and workload analysis. The role serves as underwriting contact for agency personnel by responding to agent inquiries, assisting in the development and delivery of agency training, monitoring compliance objectives, and supporting decision making on acceptance or decline of bonds within established authority.
