Shift: 2nd shift
Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour
Pay: $22-$23 base pay

This position reports to

Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Ensure equipment/instrumentation is in working order and calibration of equipment is up to date.
Issue maintenance requests using EAM System. Follow up on downed equipment and communicate to supervisor.
Interact and establish strong working relationships with team members.
Follow production schedule that is provided by Supervisor. Update all Cell boards daily.
Train and motivate new team members, cross train, and motivate team.
Support team on all issues that may come up during the shift.
Know team members well enough to identify individual skill sets for strategic placement.
Cover absenteeism and relieve associates for unscheduled breaks.
Initiate and suggest continuous improvement projects.
Problem Solving based off Problem Pareto sheet.

Qualifications for the role
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minium of 2 years in a manufacturing facility
  • Mechanical, basic math, and basic computer skills
  • Energetic, good listener, well organized, with ability to prioritize
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of Lean and 5S preferred
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
  • Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
  • Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
