Position Summary

The Investment Operations Analyst is accountable for the ongoing performance analysis, documentation, and reporting activities of the Investment Office related to the selection, monitoring, and oversight of the Endowment's external investment managers. Manage the office's data collection and retention process, using the portfolio management CRM system. Partner with the Investment Office team members and with other University departments and external entities, including the Endowment's investment managers and administrators, custodian bank, and auditors. Produce high-quality work, including materials that are readily presentable to constituencies, internal and external to the Investment Office.


Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years relevant professional experience, including experience with financial analysis and reporting.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven ability to accurately and autonomously manage a large volume of data and documents. Basic awareness of and interest in a diverse range of investment strategies. Excellent problem-solving, analytic and quantitative skills, and attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to establish credibility within the Office and University, and with representatives of external managers and service providers. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a demanding setting. Strong moral compass and the highest ethical standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. Ability to exercise sound judgment.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficient in Total Plan Solutions, Bipsync, and Fundamatic.


Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $108,000.00 to USD $132,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
