Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Home Care Warranty Specialist I to join our team. In this position you will represent Richmond American Homes to our customers via phone and in person and will assist in remedying any Customer Service issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

    Attends homeowner orientation and closing walks to build ongoing collaborative relationship with buyer/property owner.
  • Work with construction team to conduct quality assurance inspections on properties prior to orientation and closing walks.
  • Educates homeowners on warranty processes, claim submissions and the use of their home.
  • Schedules work days between homeowners and trades to address warranty items and ensures satisfactory completion of work.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and warranty submissions in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 years of customer service experience
  • Understand technical aspects of construction, effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills, ability to solve problems, professional demeanor, ability to carry out tasks and resolve customer issues independently or with the assistance of a Senior Home Care Representative.
  • Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $52,000 - $65,000
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Quarterly Production
