Sunny View Manor JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Resident Services is responsible for developing and overseeing programs which provide on-going social and emotional support to residents and prospective residents of Front Porch. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. *Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction. *Researches, develops, and maintains a network of service providers to assist residents with needed services, information, and referrals. *Provides general case management to residents to maximize their independence. *Provides education for residents regarding service availability, application procedures, client rights, etc. Educates family members of the same and other "care giver" issues as appropriate. *Communicates the status of residents to the Executive Director. *Identifies and assesses frail or "at risk" residents and gives input at the resident assessment meeting. *Attends all special social functions, i.e., resident banquet, monthly activities, Holiday parties, open house, etc. *Performs all duties while adhering to Front Porch core values of: Fiscal Responsibility, Individual Initiative-Expression and Creativity, Innovative Services and Products, Customer Satisfaction, Integrity in Relationships, and an Environment of Teamwork and Trust. *Follows highest standards of cleanliness. Follows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines. *Follows and ensures department safety standards, practice body mechanic techniques and participate in campus-wide safety programs. *Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor. Follows highest standards of cleanliness. JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. *High School diploma, some college preferred. 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. *Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of Front Porch. *Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. *Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with, and resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. |
