Egan Company is seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join us as the Vice President of Automation, Technology, and Service (ATS). This pivotal role demands a candidate with a background in sales and direct-to-owner engagement, coupled with an unwavering commitment to safety. As the Vice President of ATS, your strategic focus will encompass cultivating and retaining high performing teams, strategically leading all facets of customer experience and retention, and driving impactful sales and growth strategies. Ultimately, you will operate with a long-term perspective, ensuring the sustained success of both Egan Company and the ATS group. For internal candidates, there may be an opportunity to retain some of your existing leadership responsibilities, depending on organizational needs and alignment.
Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and make business decisions to strengthen the ATS group's success while also supporting Egan's overall strategic plan; be a champion of Egan's Mission, Vision, Purpose, and Values.
- Oversee the cultivation of strong, long-term relationships with key owners and customers, acting as a point of executive escalation and ensuring exceptional service and alignment with their objectives.
- Champion a high-performance sales culture focused on exceeding customer expectations and drive a customer-centric sales strategy across the ATS group.
- Be an engaged leader in safety initiatives, ensuring open communication with your team and instilling a high level of accountability in regards to Egan's safety expectations.
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ATS leaders and team members; regularly visit customers, employees, and jobsites.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Automation and Service groups and across Egan Company.
- Retain and recruit the best talent in the market by focusing on group/team culture.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement that is able to drive change and results.
- Build relationships with key customers to enhance relationships and position for growth.
- Create and utilize tools that allow proper planning, execution, and completion of work.
- Establish and utilize metrics/measures of success for the ATS group.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high quality work and customer satisfaction.
- Create annual operating plans with each business group that help guide activities and establish annual priorities.
- Develop and manage the ATS group's financial goal setting and budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Be actively involved in industry and trade organizations to leverage training opportunities and build strategic relationships with the membership.
- Actively pursue professional development opportunities for yourself and others.
- Build strong internal partnerships within the ATS groups and with other Egan groups to promote collaboration; participate in Egan events and support employee involvement in these events.
- Serve as an effective member of the Egan Senior Leadership Team.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as requested/needed.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical, construction management, business, engineering or a related academic field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a related field with at least 3 years leading people/teams.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Working Conditions
- Performance of duties will mostly be in an office environment with visits to job sites and the prefabrication shop.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- When on jobsites, exposure to loud noise, dirt, and exposure to the elements; climbing ladders/stairs, walking on uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting.

Salary Range: $156,494 - $182,550 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus vehicle allowance and potential annual discretionary bonus.
