Responsibilities
About Temecula Valley Hospital Simulation Lab Technician The Simulation Technician will be part of the Southwest Healthcare General Medical Education Consortium team. This role will play an integral part in creating a world-class simulation environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a passion for working with technology and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The Simulation Technician will be responsible for designing, developing and testing simulations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to faculty, staff, and students. Under the direction of the Simulation Director (physician) and the Simulation Manager, the Simulation Technician will provide technical and mechanical support for the General Medical Education Consortium simulation center. This position is full-time, and occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required. It will also require travel to each simulation lab associated with the Southwest Healthcare Medical Education Consortium, primarily Temecula Valley Rancho Springs, and Inland Valley Hospitals, and occasional travel to Corona and Palmdale Regional Hospitals. The simulation center equipment includes adult and pediatric high-fidelity manikins, as well as numerous task trainers and a 3-D printer. Qualifications Education/Training/Experience:
