SUMMARY Assists CARING Housing Ministries managed community in providing on-site emergency coverage for the facility by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. *Familiarization and Confidentiality with Emergency Contact sheets for all Residents. *Reports to Manager/Administrator the need for alterations to; maintenance of; upkeep or re-conditioning of grounds and building and any possible unsafe condition. *Maintains positive resident relations. *Respond to Emergency Situations by providing immediate assistance, which includes notifying the appropriate emergency agency and/or vendor and also notifies appropriate staff of the situation and/or completes incident reports. *Assists Residents with requests such as lockouts. *Assists with Resident Activities as directed. *Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral diagram or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
