The General Manager (GM) is directly responsible for meeting and exceeding annual P & L goals for their division, building and developing a cohesive team of people working together to meet and exceed sales plans and the growth of all product lines within their scope of focus. The GM must demonstrate the ability to manage the sales, technical and local operations requirements for the business. They will manage customer and partner relationships and expectations from a sales growth perspective, while maintaining existing accounts and partners, to increase sales volume as dictated by the company's strategic goals. This role must be hands-on with driving sales . The GM role is critical and will prove pivotal in the continued growth of the business unit, as part of the larger global company. This position requires a self-directed, strategic and forward-thinking person. The GM must also be an energetic, results oriented and capable of professional and detailed follow through.
