Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team! For over 15 years, Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake has ensured seniors have every opportunity to enjoy a rewarding lifestyle. With 142 independent living, assisted living, memory care apartments and 64 long-term and transitional care suites, our Brooklyn Park campus is a vibrant, established community where it's easy to establish positive connections. This position will be scheduled 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and will participate in an on-call rotation every fourth week.

Responsibilities:

Maintains and makes repairs to the facility and equipment in a timely manner. Assists with coordination of maintenance requests and assists Plant Director with preventive maintenance. Responsible for painting and repairs to rooms and/or apartments to prepare for incoming residents.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED desired. Vocational training in related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum three years related experience in a commercial building or health care environment preferred.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Pool Operator certification preferred.

  Preparing and painting both commercial and residential indoor spaces.

  Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry skills.

  Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise appropriate judgment.

  Ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of related or unrelated jobs.

  Ability to perform manual labor, including being able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
