Human Resources Assistant

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting our Employee Labor Relations team in La Crosse, WI!

You will play a vital role in supporting our HR Department while also handling key front desk responsibilities.

In this role, you will:

• Assist recruiting with completing I-9 forms, scanning background checks, maintain accurate personnel records, and triaging phone calls to correct staff and/ or departments.

• Provides support to the Human Resources Department in multiple HR disciplines by coordinating multiple projects including assisting in project development, project implementation and project maintenance.

What's Available?

• 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/ week

• Schedule: Monday-Friday days between 8:00am-4:30pm

• Location: Onsite - Front Street Office in La Crosse, WI

• Starting pay of $19.50/hour + more based on relevant experience!

What You'll Need:

• Associates degree in Human Resources or business related field

• 1 year of relevant experience in office or administrative setting

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong customer service mindset and problem solving ability
