STV is actively seeking aTransportation (DoT) Safety Department of Program Lead for various locations to be a part of our Transportation and Infrastructure Division. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in Federal and State DoT regulatory requirements as related to Safety and Safety Management System (SMS) elements, client support to prepare for and achieve regulatory compliance, audit and gap analysis to assist clients in advancing safety in agency culture and human behavior, incident investigation and root cause analysis, development of client related plans, policies, procedures, and overall client safety program advancement. Market sector will focus on but not limited to Departments of Transportation, FRA Class One, Motor Freight Carriers and those interfaces with industrial distribution carriers. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong intrapreneurial spirit with a proven record of successfully managing program level staff.
