Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides engineering oversight to a group of employees in multiple engineering disciplines. Accountable for leading team members including their ongoing development and their assignment on projects in compliance with company requirements. • Assists business development activities by facilitating the maintenance of personal profiles and resumes, tracking existing capabilities, and strategically addressing future customer capability requirements
• Participates in budgeting and manage engineering operations to the budget. Controls engineering staffing levels, organizational structure, and monitors project discipline structures. Administers engineering software licensing and costs
• Owns engineering technical competency and quality programs and oversees technical competency of those within the location. Ensures team member adherence to company processes, generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Facilitates meeting project requirements through the use of engineering guidelines, programs, and management of the resources allocated to projects. May participate in project execution strategy and planning.
