General Computer Technology Co-Op

PeopleTec is currently seeking a General Computer Technology Co-Op to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is looking for Junior and Senior level university students in the process of obtaining a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science degree. Must have an interest in pursuing a full-time career in defense contracting and ability to pass a background investigation for a Top Secret clearance. Job entails working with different groups (Threat Analytics/Software Development/Infrastructure/OPFOR) within the contract program.

Duties:

Work with different groups (Threat Analytics/Software Development/Infrastructure/OPFOR) within the contract program, depending on skill-level, career interests, and needs of the program.
• Helping with software development (Java, Python, AWS, Azure, Docker)
• Learning functionality of various SIEMs (ELK and Splunk)
• Common vulnerabilities and intrusion characteristics
• Infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform and Kubernetes)
• Work with Linux, Windows, and virtual environments
• Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Required Skills/Experience:

• Students must have some knowledge software development, cloud development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, computer networking, or information technology policy (NIST 800-53/NIST 500-171).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education Requirements:

• Students must be within two-year time-frame of graduation of a Bachelors Degree. Graduate level students will also be considered
