Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $25-$27/hour, based on experience

Core Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and process weekly and biweekly payroll for manufacturing and support staff.
  • Accurately handle employee PTO, wage adjustments, and other payroll-related inquiries.
  • Set up and maintain employee profiles in timekeeping and payroll systems.
  • Monitor, adjust, and reconcile employee benefits with precision and care.
  • Generate and maintain payroll-related spreadsheets and financial reports.
  • Train and support a payroll assistant, promoting a collaborative team culture.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly payroll and labor reports.
  • Maintain a well-organized document retention system in compliance with company standards.
  • Contribute to special payroll or administrative projects as needed.
Requirements for Success:
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proven timeliness and consistency in meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
  • Experience with ERP systems (WorkEasy a plus).
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to follow processes closely.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
