Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform skilled maintenance and repair services on production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure. You'll work closely with the Plant Manager to identify and resolve equipment issues, maintain preventive maintenance programs, and ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance activities to address equipment breakdowns and ensure efficient response. -
Execute and maintain a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. -
Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on machinery and facility systems. -
Monitor cranes, hoists, chains, and lifting devices-coordinate with contractors for repairs and follow-ups. -
Inspect and maintain forklifts, scissor lifts, and powered industrial trucks to ensure safe operation. -
Run bi-weekly Monday reports on outstanding maintenance tasks and communicate updates to the Plant Manager. -
Review and complete work orders daily; update documentation and log progress in maintenance system. -
Conduct regular facility inspections to assess repair needs and help prioritize spending. -
Develop cost-effective maintenance strategies and contribute to safety, reliability, and process efficiency. -
Maintain organized maintenance records and technical manuals to support timely service intervals. -
Provide technical support using hands-on experience, manufacturer guidance, and independent research. -
Stay informed on new technologies and vendor offerings-travel to vendor sites when necessary for equipment evaluation.
Qualifications:

Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required. -
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. -
Familiarity with PM systems, cranes, hoists, powered industrial equipment, and building systems. -
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation. -
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and workplace compliance best practices. -
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. -
Proficient in using computers for maintenance reporting and PM tracking. -
Willingness to travel occasionally for vendor evaluation or procurement support. -
Ability to work collaboratively with all departments while maintaining a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. -
Clean DMV record.
