The Associate Director of Sales for US Systems Integrators segment is responsible for providing day-to-day strategic direction and leadership to their team, enabling sales professionals to meet and exceed all sales targets. This role focuses on leading a team with a focus on growing revenue through different GTM channels including sell-to and sell-through.

Duties include:

  • Establishing relationships with key client executives and supporting business unit sales goals.

  • Regularly interacts with both internal and external executive management and ensures customer satisfaction.

  • Leads by example to understand the customer's value levers, market, and competitors' value proposition.

  • Understand the customer's business operations and needs to develop Verizon's value proposition.

  • Responsible for overseeing and handling complex outsourcing engagements, customer escalations, and numerous, detailed, and concurrent install/conversion/migration projects

What you'll be doing:

  • Build relationships with CIOs/CTOs/C-Suite and senior leadership roles by having a deep understanding of solutions, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Attend strategic sales meetings and executive briefings with key accounts to promote the quality of Verizon.

  • Lead a team of direct sellers to provide mobility, cloud and IT, strategic networking, advanced communications, professional services and outsourcing solutions for Systems Integrators.

  • Drive sales strategy and business development while focusing on increasing sales of high-margin products, increasing adoption of existing products, and identifying profitable revenue growth.

  • Develop partnership models with the Systems Integrators and where necessary Sell Sell through go-to-market models

  • Cultivate talent development for your sales team.

  • Drive the budget and forecast cycles for each assigned account.

Your executive presence and willingness to learn enables you to build credibility and critical relationships quickly. You have a competitive spirit and a desire to win through the team.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Commission-based sales experience.

  • A valid driver's license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree.

  • Experience with solution selling to C-Level Executives in the Fortune 500 and Global Market, with a strong preference for experience with solution selling to large, sophisticated tech companies, including the FANG companies

  • A strong sales management and leadership background and proven results in a complex environment

  • Track record of strong sales results. Ideally, individual and team.

  • C-Suite communication and presentation for internal and external influence

Additionally you'll need to have:

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of the time.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $123,000.00 - $236,000.00. The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $135,500.00 - $236,000.00.
