The Semiconductor Laser Diode Scientist will be a part of a new, cohesive group involved in the development of advanced laser modules and systems. A successful candidate will participate in all aspects of laser product development process: from conceptual design and lab prototyping, including epitaxial structure design, wafer processing, optical and electrical assembly and testing, to gathering and presentation of experimental test data, to development of robust, packaged laser diode chips, modules and systems for new product lines. IPG will be able to offer relocation assistance to candidates within the United States that are willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Oxford, MA offices. Responsibilities:
