Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for engaging healthcare professionals (HCPs) through targeted telephone interactions to promote assigned client products, maximize sales potential, and achieve program and client objectives. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with HCPs by providing accurate and impactful education on product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The ISR effectively utilizes approved promotional tools and resources and demonstrates a high level of expertise in product knowledge, program strategies, and customer engagement activities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily outbound sales activities, including telephone and virtual engagements, in alignment with defined performance expectations.
  • Strategically manage and profile a targeted list of HCPs to maximize engagement and program impact.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to meet or exceed territory and corporate performance targets.
  • Communicate persuasively and professionally with customers using effective selling techniques, active listening, and negotiation skills while adhering to approved messaging and terminology.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the relevant disease state, product attributes, and program objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical and medical terminology and maintain the required level of technical expertise, including knowledge of competitive products.
  • Follow all approved guidance related to pre- and post-launch activities.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and follow-up actions in the client's CRM system.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to customer inquiries and needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales leader, internal team members, and program consultants to ensure alignment and progress on key initiatives.
  • Represent the client and program with professionalism, consistently creating a positive impression with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit reports and updates to management as required.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, codes of conduct, and data privacy standards.
  • Actively participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development opportunities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience required.
  • Limited distribution model experience preferred.
  • Neurology experience preferred.
  • Track record of consistent sales success.
  • Strong technical skills with digital meeting platforms and computer proficiency.
  • Experience engaging assigned HCP targets to attain individual, territory, and company sales goals.
  • Experience successfully working across multiple time zones.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Highly effective at influencing HCPs at various levels virtually.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented, setting ambitious goals and taking proactive steps to achieve them.
  • Displays a strategic approach to identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities.
  • Self-starter comfortable working successfully in a virtual sales environment.
  • Trustworthy, with high integrity and a compliance mindset.
  • Must successfully complete Amplity and client training and meet training expectations to proceed with servicing the client's customers within the parameters of the program.

Salary Expectations:

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $75K - $78K. The salary range displayed may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees, certifications, and other relevant factors.
