Director, Finance - CPA Lab

Supports System Laboratory Director, and Laboratory Senior Leadership CPA Operations with all aspects of CPA Lab finance; development of financial goals, which align with Norton Healthcare overall strategic plan as well as new applications and systems essential to business direction. In addition, responsibilities include communication of CPA Lab business financial health to CPA Lab core management team, financial statement preparation, reconciliation, budget preparation, all daily financial activities and liaison to Norton Healthcare Corporate Finance Department. Ms-Access development and updates for Billing Department dashboard, analytical tools, reports and queries to lean the claim generation/upload process. Provides leadership and guidance to the Billing department and manages company-billing practices and payer contract negotiation. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to direct and manage areas of responsibility. This leader provides guidance and consultation for daily IT activities. In addition facilitates the development and delivery of excellence in service practice by evaluating and coordinating the services delivered.

Key Accountabilities:

• Prepares annual budget for CPA lab and reports to senior finance leaders.
• Prepares month end reports for CPA Lab and reports this data to the appropriate management team within the Norton Healthcare system.
• Provides financial guidance to the CPA Lab related to billing collections and reimbursement for services provided to our patients.
• Ensures all billing reimbursement for patient services is in compliance with all state and federal guidelines.
• Assist CPA Lab in managing AR days, bad debt and collections of outstanding patient balances to ensure CPA is always looking at ways to manage this budget variance.

Required:

• Five years in accounting or finance
• Bachelor Degree

Desired:

• Three years management in accounting or finance
• Master Degree
• Certified Public Accountant
