PRIMARY PURPOSE As a Central Processing Pharmacist, you work as part of a team that supports patients across the five states we operate in. In an office-based environment, you are able to assist verify prescriptions in an efficient manner to provide a smooth and unparalleled customer service experience for the patient in the store. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES What does it mean to be a Central Processing Pharmacist? * You can work independently to efficiently complete data verification of prescriptions, and we don't mind if you listen to a personal listening device while you do it! * You will be working alongside and supervise technicians, who will assist with processing prescriptions, and who will learn and lean on your expert knowledge and experience. * Oh, and of course, it's retail - things are constantly changing. Part of what makes us so great is our ability to quickly change to meet our customers' needs. We may ask you to perform other job functions as needed. QUALIFICATIONS * Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. * Successful completion of criminal background check. * Current license in good standing in the state(s) in which to practice. * Current and active immunizing pharmacist certification. * Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills * High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality * Effective interpersonal skills and desire to work in a fast-paced, team environment * Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job * Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations Physical Requirements What physical requirements are there? * You will be standing and using a computer, keyboard etc. for extended periods of the time * Frequent bending at the knees and waist * Use hands frequently, often involving fine motor skills; frequent/continuous reaching, lifting and carrying up to 20lbs at waist or shoulder level * Visual acuity and audio capacity to process prescriptions and service customers *The essential job functions, duties, responsibilities, and physical requirements listed are a select representation of duties required for various positions, and may not include all, or be limited to, those listed.
