As a Maintenance Technician you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of our company, working on state-of-the-art equipment and supporting the growth of the business. Essential Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment including high-temperature vacuum furnaces, lathes, mills, and other machining and heat treat equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Work closely with production teams to support operational needs and prioritize repairs. Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform accurate repairs and installations. Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or inspections (e.g., furnace calibration, NDT equipment servicing). Ensure maintenance logs, records, and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency. Comply with all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company policies. Order necessary materials and utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)for scheduling and executing maintenance activities. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician, preferably in a job shop or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience with maintenance and repair of high-temperature vacuum furnaces is highly preferred. Familiarity with CNC equipment, lathes, mills, and associated controls is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
