Low Voltage Install Technician Columbia, MD MUST: Experienced Low Voltage Install Technician 3+ years of Field electrical and/or electronic practical experience required Knowledge of alarm system requirements and the ability to interpret code books and handbooks. Able to utilize a laptop with system application software, etc. Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs Must be willing to work at heights Must be able to operate electrical tools Must be able to differentiate color coding of cables Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times Must have valid driver's license Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required DUTIES: The Low Voltage Installer is responsible for installing various electronic systems. Duties include: Installation of control panels, panel and system wiring, conduit and raceway and field device terminations. Coordinating daily scheduling with the customer on-site. Daily communication with project manager. Maintaining drawings and/or schematics. Perform troubleshooting as required Conducts quality assurance. Timely completion of associated documentation.
