What We Do and How We Do It

Crown Center is a vibrant multi-use complex, which includes retail shops, two hotels, offices and special attractions - an exciting place where people live, work and play. It is located near the corporate headquarters of Hallmark Cards, Inc. and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

The Marketing Coordinator assists and supports the Crown Center Marketing Team in the execution of marketing plans through coordinating, planning, reporting and other duties to improve marketing team effectiveness and efficiency. Ultimately, all efforts and activities will support the Crown Center marketing strategies and tactics to drive traffic to events and promotions for the Crown Center complex. Support extends to all marketing programs and events, as well as all communication programs. This position provides detailed accounting and budget support, administrative support and owns responsibility for key tasks to implement events, programs, advertising, promotional pieces and website.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Crown Center Website: Maintains the events listing, assists with content management of crowncenter.com as needed.

Crown Center Ice Terrace Support: Create all support materials for Skating Lesson program; manage production of the new hire and manager manuals; track daily, weekly and seasonal sales and convert to reports.

Crown Center Square Programs: Assist the Marketing Manager - Entertainment with the production of contracts and coordinate all required payments, Permit Letters for Liquor License Applications and Street Closures; coordinate the WeekEnder slideshow production; provide additional program support as needed.

Retail programs: Assist the Marketing Manager - Retail with the production of contracts and coordinate all required payments; Coordinate the content and production of Merchant Invites, Miscellaneous Memos and the Monthly Food Report; Coordinate Merchant Meetings including materials prep and catering orders and provide additional program support as needed.

Printed communication: Coordinate the collection of events and merchant promotions on a monthly basis, then distribute information to Marketing Director and/or partners responsible for writing Social Media posts, CONNECT and email; Respond to visitor inquiries from website, TripAdvisor, Yelp! and advertising programs; coordinate the complex poster advertising program; responsible for information collection and production of Crown Center Event Panels; Oversees Photo Files in TEAMS; assists with media requests as needed; Maintain records and assist contractor in content collection for monthly PR report; provide additional communication programs support as needed.

Administrative: Responsible for department EPAY processing, supply ordering; payment program management for co-op advertising programs and Crown Center square programs; and other record-keeping.

Record Keeping: Maintain historical files within the department and submissions to Hallmark archives department; manage storage at the records center; and maintain ongoing records of program statistics and key events on a calendar basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:



  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, OR formal training in marketing or administrative support.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience in coordinating contracts, payments, and record-keeping.



      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
      • Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or website content updates.
      • Familiarity with EPAY processing and co-op advertising programs.
      • Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
      • Experience with MS Teams.
      • Knowledge of liquor license applications and street closure permits.
      • Experience working with retail or entertainment programs.
      • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain historical records.
      • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



      ADDITIONAL DETAILS:



      • This is a part-time position. The work schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm.
      • Additional hours will be required during an event season. May be required to work on certain holidays and the day after a holiday (i.e. - Day after Thanksgiving).
      • Relocation will not be provided
