We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Test Engineer I to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python to ensure the quality and reliability of our data and reports. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and sanity testing. Create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and procedures based on product requirements. Write and execute SQL queries to validate ETL data pipelines and ensure data integrity. Enhance and maintain scalable test automation frameworks. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into effective test cases. Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and log defects using Rally (Agile project management tool). Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field Experience working with Next world ERP systems Hands-on experience in developing automation solutions using Python Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with Selenium WebDriver. Familiarity with test automation frameworks. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Preferred : Knowledge of Microstrategy reports. Knowledge of New Relic set up and maintenance. USD 65,500.00 - 98,300.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
