The Legal Intern will assist in uploading, identifying, organizing, and extracting key contractual terms for inclusion in a new centralized contracts database and contract lifecycle management tool. This Internship is 100% onsite in Waukesha, WI and will end when the 2025 Fall semester begins.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in identifying and collecting executed customer and vendor contracts from various Power Transformer facilities.
Review contracts to extract and input key terms such as payment terms, termination clauses, liquidated damages, warranty provisions, and limitations of liability into the centralized contract database.
Support the Legal and Contract Management teams in organizing contracts for improved visibility and tracking.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling sensitive legal documents.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and completeness of entered contract data.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on contract lifecycle management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree
Current 1st or 2nd year Law Student, with completion or currently enrolled in a contract law course
Preferred Education / Experience
Experience with SalesForce
