Surety Specialist
Do you have a basic knowledge of insurance coverages, policy construction and applications? If you would like to become more familiar with various types of bonds, including bid, final, miscellaneous and court bonds, this may be the next step in your career! What the day will look likeProvide surety technical advice/support to non-surety personnel and coordinate receipt of pertinent underwriting information. Confirm that bonds are issued in compliance with surety lines of credit and assist in the negotiation of approvals for execution of bonds that are outside of, or in excess of, surety line of credit or broker authority. Upon policy placement, build policy summaries, calculate premium allocations, transmit binders to the client, and initiate all post placement outputs. A few of the tasks that we'll complete together:

Unlike typical insurance positions, it combines technical work, policy execution, and cross-team collaboration. You'll gain hands-on experience with various bond types, support underwriting decisions, and play a key role in ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the bond lifecycle. We'll work with you to get you up to speed on our tools.
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000-$95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
