SRO Site Manager

The SRO (Single Room Occupancy) Site Manager is responsible for The Glenn Apartments overall building operations, a four-story single room occupancy building. This includes:

Responsibility directly for hiring and supervising the Desk Clerk staff; and

Assisting the Program Director, Department Head, or designated supervisor with the day-to-day administrative operations of the residence, including (but not limited to):

• Tenant interviewing and selection;
• Hiring and supervision of building staff;
• Addressing building and tenant issues that arise.

The Site Manager reports to the designated Area Director, Clinical Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Resident Responsibilities

• With support from the Housing Specialist, manages the leasing process in accordance with Thresholds' policies, including advertising vacancies, accepting applications and screening applicants.
• Takes the lead on handling lease violations and/or problematic tenant behavior.
• Accepts and accounts for rental payments for residents.

Building Operations Responsibilities

• Arranges Desk Clerk schedule to ensure there is appropriate 24/7 coverage.
• Supervises all Desk Clerk staff, which includes interviewing, hiring, training, conducting supervision and evaluating performance.
• Ensures that all building Health and Safety protocols are implemented.
• Ensures that all building maintenance issues are reported to Facilities in a timely fashion and verifies completion of maintenance tasks.
• Provides accurate and timely information to supervisor on all topics and issues related to the operation of the residence. This includes, but is not limited to, correcting errors specific to the area of responsibility as they are identified.
• Reports any hazardous conditions or emergency situations to management.
• Assists with building matters and inspections.
• Monitors traffic through lobby and ensures that all guests check in and out of the building, show proper identification, and follow the building rules.
• Conducts periodic inspections of common areas of the building and maintains the neat and orderly appearance of the lobby.
• Records staff attendance and guest attendance sheets monthly. Assists with bi-weekly timesheets for staff.
• Assists with ongoing operational and administrate needs, such as sorting incoming and outgoing mail for department residents.

Other

• May be required to work a flexible schedule, filling in for emergency coverage.
• The Glenn Apartments building is a four-story, single room occupancy building.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
