TYPE OF POSITION:
240-days per year Non-rep exempt REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Community Education & Partnerships SUPERVISION: Community Education Staff SALARY: $75,000-$90,000/yr (dependent on qualifications and education) QUALIFICATIONS: Required
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Community Education, the Supervisor of Community Education Programs provides leadership and administration for community education programs and staff including youth enrichment, youth development and service, school aged care, facility rental, volunteers, and aquatics. Responsibilities include: Planning, development and implementation of community education program functions including hiring, training, observation and evaluation, program development, evaluation and accountability, data management, grant assurances compliance, development and monitoring of program policies and procedures, budget development and management, and grant applications. In addition, the position includes responsibility for marketing community education programs and community outreach, communications strategies, and developing and maintaining partnerships between community education staff and district departments, state staff at Minnesota Department of Education, postsecondary institutions, community-based organizations, employers, and other collaborative partners.
