Employment Type: Hourly Shift: Third Work Arrangement:Onsite Position Summary: Provide clerical support to distribution operations on a daily basis. Ensure all customer orders are ready to ship on time and orders are completed, prepped and invoiced. Complete understanding of cross functional roles to include vacation relief and support for all shifts. Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED 1-3 years of experience as an Administrative/Clerical Clerk Warehouse environment experience preferred Knowledge and Skills: Basic understanding of distribution operations Skill in complex problem solving and organizational and multi-tasking skills, allowing the incumbent to function effectively in complex and rapidly evolving situations Strong written (spelling, grammar, structure, clarity) and verbal (concise, clear, relevant, organized) communication skills are required Ability to utilize computer tools including spreadsheet, word processing and mainframe with minimal additional training or guidance Knowledge of Ventura Foods' products, processes and systems as they relate to the transportation function. Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography. Ventura Foods conducts regular reviews of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time. Additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends may also be required.
