Responsibilities

Join Our Team as the Senior Director of Admissions!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level and make a real impact? At Newport Healthcare, we are on a mission to transform lives, and we need a dynamic senior-level Admissions Executive to lead our team to success!

Key Performance Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Purpose: Directly supervise Admissions Directors and inspire them to achieve organization-wide admissions, census, and customer service goals.
  • Strategic Visionary: Develop and execute semi-annual Strategic Action Plans for the Admissions Department, aligning with our mission and values to drive organizational success.
  • Team Builder: Create and nurture a management team that fosters an environment of drive, diligence, equality, and inclusivity.
  • Relationship Architect: Coach Admissions Directors to build fruitful relationships with organizational leaders and peers, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: Troubleshoot census, development, payor, and revenue issues with department heads, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Budget Master: Develop, maintain, and adhere to departmental budgets to meet fiscal goals and ensure financial health.
  • Collaborative Innovator: Work alongside the Utilization Review Management Team to optimize admissions processes and access to care.
  • Policy Pioneer: Create and update departmental policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performance Champion: Conduct regular meetings to review key performance indicators and implement improvement measures.
  • Customer Satisfaction Advocate: Act as the point of contact to drive customer satisfaction and organizational success.
  • Quality Control Leader: Ensure the Admissions Department Quality Control Program is implemented and utilized to improve QC scores.
  • On-the-Ground Leader: Travel to program and corporate sites to engage with staff and leadership, providing training and support.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Generate reports for Executive Leadership to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Extensive Experience: A robust seven (7) or more years of experience in behavioral health, sales, contact center, or marketing environments, showcasing your versatility and expertise.
  • Proven Leadership Skills: At least four (4) or more years of management experience, demonstrating your ability to inspire and guide teams to success.
  • Admissions Expertise: A minimum of two (2) or more years in an Admissions or Utilization Review management position, highlighting your proficiency in navigating complex processes.
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field, ensuring you have the knowledge needed to excel in this role.
