Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Senior Portfolio Manager to join our amazing culture. A strategic Senior Portfolio Manager with a strong ability to lead, innovate, and execute. Salary Range: 95,000K-150,000K/Annual

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

Program Leadership & Execution



  • Serve as a single point of coordination, leading program governance, operational execution, and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all initiatives.
  • Collaborate with program sales leads to develop and drive the strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, compliance requirements, and customer-specific standards.
  • Establish and maintain detailed program playbooks for each initiative, documenting best practices and execution strategies.


Customer & Partner Engagement



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal, customer, partners), ensuring seamless collaboration across all initiatives.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify and introduce new service offerings and solutions.
  • Deliver regular business reviews to customers and internal leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as an advocate for the customer, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.


Operational & Financial Performance



  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for growth and optimization.
  • Drive program efficiencies, leveraging data analytics and insights to enhance execution.
  • Work with sales team to expand business through alignment of a programmatic approach and consistent, successful delivery of Convergint services.
  • Proactively manage risks and remove roadblocks to ensure successful outcomes.


Leadership & Innovation



  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to team members and partners.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, introducing new ideas and disruptive strategies that enhance Convergint's value proposition.
  • Serve as a thought leader, bringing best practices and insights to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Need




  • Excellent organizational skills related to program/project management.
  • Broad based industry and market knowledge of network and low voltage building systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and other workflow management tools.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to deliver presentations to multiple levels of an organization.
  • Strong financial competencies.
  • Conflict management skills with the ability to resolve differences.
  • Confidence in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Strong work ethic with personal motivation to function individually and part of a team.
  • Adeptness to create internal and external organizational alignment through relationships, communicating vision and team building.
  • Understanding of appropriate levels of protection regarding to customer personnel, information, and property, both real and intellectual.
  • Accomplished leader to serve as a role model while guiding, developing, and mentoring others within the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving aptitude and techniques.
  • Established capabilities in implementing program deliverables, leveraging understanding of cultural differences in business practices for other regions or countries.

Requirements:

Minimum Experience:



  • 3+ years of program management experience required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree



Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • Professional experience in 1 or more of the following industries preferred: electronic security, fire alarm & life safety or building automation
  • Previous leadership experience is desired
  • Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI) certification desirable; industry-specific certifications and/or required licenses required; must have valid driver's license.
