What we are looking for:

We're searching for an enthusiastic, relationship-focused Loan Officer to join our high-performing mortgage team. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, is fueled by helping others, and is known for getting things done with accuracy and care-this is the role for you.

You'll be a trusted guide for our Customers and Referral Partners, ensuring a smooth, clear, and timely path from application to closing.

What you'll do:



  • Deliver an exceptional client experience, every step of the way
  • Build strong relationships with clients and referral sources
  • Conduct detailed interviews with prospective borrowers to assess financial and creditworthiness
  • Market, promote, and sell Cornerstone's suite of mortgage loan products
  • Negotiate terms and guide clients through options with transparency and confidence
  • Set clear expectations and manage the loan process from application to closing
  • Stay on top of industry trends and maintain up-to-date knowledge of loan products and market conditions
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable residential mortgage lending laws and regulations


What You'll Bring:

Success in this role comes down to heart, hustle, and a commitment to serving others with excellence. We're looking for someone who brings:



  • A minimum of 2 years of mortgage experience with a deep understanding of the full loan lifecycle - or a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Active licensing (or the ability to become licensed within 60 days) as required by state and federal regulators
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help others succeed
