Level II

  • Estimated annual base pay: $78,000.00(minimum) - $97,500.00(midpoint) - $117,000.00(maximum)

Level III

  • Estimated annual base pay: $88,000.00(minimum) - $110,000.00(midpoint) - $132,000.00(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Purchasing Supplier Manager II, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Purchasing Supplier Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing the supply base to meet Quality, Delivery, Responsiveness, and Cost metrics for the COE. This role is responsible to align those tactics and strategies based on Commodity Strategy and site needs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Effectively manages and nurtures relationships with key suppliers to ensure mutual growth and collaboration.
  • Expertly negotiates agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
  • Maintains clear and consistent communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues.
  • Utilizes data analysis to assess supplier performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions to enhance supplier partnerships.
  • Identifies potential risks in the supply chain and develops strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity and reliability.
  • Tracks and evaluates supplier performance against established KPIs and service level agreements to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Develops and implements strategic plans for supplier management that align with the organization's long-term goals.
  • Quickly identifies and resolves issues related to supplier performance, contractual disputes, and operational challenges.
  • Works collaboratively with various departments such as procurement, finance, and operations to ensure integrated supplier management processes.
  • Skilled in managing supplier-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.

What We Are Looking For

Level II

  • Bachelor's Degree in Material and/or Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering OR in lieu of degree 10 years of experience
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Purchasing (buyer, purchasing manager, etc.) with experience in multiple procurement categories (i.e.: Electronics, Casting, etc.)
  • APICS, CPIM certifications preferred

Level III

  • Bachelor's Degree in Material and/or Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering OR in lieu of degree 16 years of experience
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Purchasing (buyer, purchasing manager, etc.) with experience in multiple procurement categories (i.e.: Electronics, Casting, etc.)
  • APICS, CPIM certifications preferred
