Description
The Provider Demographic Coordinator is responsible for the timely loading of new demographic information into the COPIS, COSMOS, HealthRules, NDB, and/or Symfact databases. The Coordinator will maintain provider demographic records, as changes occur, to ensure accuracy for claims processing, financial utilization reporting and network reporting, including Access and Availability, directories and regulatory product filings, all of which have direct impact on the member and the provider. This position involves working with customers from multiple internal Medica departments to collaboratively ensure provider demographic data is accurate for Medica members, employer groups, brokers, providers and regulatory agencies. It is important that the Coordinator fully understands the upstream and downstream impacts of loading correct data and possess the ability to recognize and communicate potential downstream impacts. The Provider Demographic Coordinator will need to understand provider demographic requests and translate the information in a manner which allows for optimal data loading into multiple systems. The Provider Demographic Coordinator functions within a production environment and is expected to meet production and quality standards. At times the Coordinator will be faced with shifting priorities, which will require the need for appropriate prioritization of work and adaption to change. This position involves providing feedback and suggestions to improve processes and/or the supporting documentation. Qualifications:

This position is a Remote role and will work remotely 100% of the time. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have a primary home address located within any state where Medica is registered as an employer - AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI. The full salary range for this position is $40,500-$69,400. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
