Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise field crews consisting of operators, laborers, and drivers on the completion of earthwork operations. Typical projects include new construction site preparation, road and trail construction, shoreline stabilization, and wetland mitigation/restoration.
  • Coordination, ordering, and procurement of jobsite materials.
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination and direction.

Qualifications

  • Superintendent/Foreman position may be union or non-union (V3 is a union contractor with union operators, laborers, drivers, etc.)
  • 5+ years' experience directing field crew of earthwork trade operations.
  • Strong knowledge of soil types, conditions, and soil mitigation methods.
  • Strong supervisory skills and ability to direct field personnel and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills.
