Position: Sales Representative - Aerospace
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Employment: Non-Exempt, Direct-Hire, Full-Time
A global distributor in the aerospace industry located in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team. This role is a mix of account management and new business development. The successful candidate will promote aerospace-related machine and electronics products, manage customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct customer visits to promote products and services to both existing and prospective clients.
Research market trends and pricing, analyze RFQ history, and develop a strategic sales approach.
Generate competitive quotes using supplier information and market analysis.
Identify and build relationships with key accounts through calls and email outreach.
Submit detailed sales activity reports and participate in meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns in coordination with relevant internal teams.
Schedule and manage appointments with current and potential clients.
Perform administrative support related to procurement, logistics, inventory, accounting, and customer service.
Improve efficiency in documentation and reporting using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
Organize reports and documentation for timely submission to management.
Understand company financials and strategic goals related to each business unit.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of sales experience in machinery, industrial equipment, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word - Excel expertise is a must.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically as needed.
Industry experience in aerospace or aviation is highly preferred.
Japanese bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
